How It All Began
The story of Sir Walter Candy Co. began with Alfonso and Alejandra Porras.
As a child, Alfonso discovered a passion for candy making after receiving recipes and books from Walter Zittle, whose influence inspired the Sir Walter name.
Years later, Alfonso and Alejandra turned that passion into a business. With their young family, they built a custom trailer where they produced and sold their handmade confections at local farmers markets.
Growing the Dream
As customers continued to return for the unique flavors and handmade quality, Sir Walter Candy Co. steadily grew.
What began as a small market operation eventually expanded into a full confectionery business. Today the company operates from a 36,000-square-foot production facility where traditional candy-making techniques are still used to craft each product.
